In July 2026 I was a judge at the 3rd Model International Conference for Medical Students, hosted by West China Hospital, Sichuan University, in Chengdu, where I was spending three months as a visiting researcher.
I evaluated oral and poster presentations by medical students, scoring each on content, language, visuals and how they handled questions.
It was a privilege to see so much enthusiasm for research, and to contribute to an event that brings future scientists together across borders.
